This Privacy Policy sets forth our practices regarding the collection, storage, and handling of information when you access or use the ZikrPulse web application, its digital tasbih counters, authentic morning and evening adhkar readers, and related educational resources.

We take your privacy seriously. Because remembrance of Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) is an intimate spiritual practice, our platform is fundamentally engineered from the ground up to minimize data collection and maintain complete confidentiality.

2️⃣ Zero Personal Data Harvesting

When utilizing ZikrPulse:

• No User Accounts Required: You do not need to register, log in, provide an email address, or create a password to use any feature of ZikrPulse.
• No Worship Tracking: We do not track, log, aggregate, or transmit your individual supplications, counting numbers, prayer timings, or religious habits to any remote database.
• No Financial Data: ZikrPulse is free to use and does not solicit credit card numbers or banking credentials.

3️⃣ Client-Side Local Storage (localStorage)

To deliver an uninterrupted, responsive experience that functions even without an active internet connection, ZikrPulse utilizes your web browser's native localStorage API.

The information saved locally within your own device browser includes:

• Daily Dhikr Counts: Tallies of beads clicked on the current calendar date to calculate daily totals.
• Streak History & Milestones: Consecutive days of practice and unlocked spiritual milestone badges.
• Adhkar Checklists: Which morning and evening supplications you have completed for the current day.
• User Interface Preferences: Your selected visual theme (Emerald Slate, Midnight OLED, or Amber Glow) and audio preset (Wooden Bead, Soft Tap, Clicker, Droplet, or Muted).

Data Ownership: This data resides exclusively in your browser sandbox. It is never uploaded to our servers. You have complete autonomy to purge this data at any moment by clicking the "Reset All History" button in the Streaks tab or clearing your browser's site cookies and local storage.

4️⃣ Device Sensors, Web Audio & Haptic APIs

ZikrPulse integrates two modern browser interfaces strictly for user interaction feedback:

• Web Audio API: Used exclusively to synthesize real-time sound frequencies (clicks, resonant bead sounds) dynamically inside the browser. We do not access your microphone, record ambient audio, or transmit acoustic data.
• Vibration API (Haptics): Used on supported mobile devices to trigger gentle vibrational pulses when you tap the counter ring. This permission can be turned off anytime via the tactile icon button in the header.

5️⃣ Third-Party Advertising & Cookie Disclosures

To sustain server hosting costs, ongoing open-source maintenance, and domain operations, ZikrPulse may partner with ethical advertising networks, including HalalSpark and Google AdSense.

Please take note of the following advertising disclosures:

• Halal Advertising Standard: We enforce strict category filters. Advertisements promoting gambling, interest-bearing loans (Riba), alcohol, pork products, adult entertainment, or un-Islamic content are strictly prohibited and blacklisted.
• Cookies & Web Beacons: Third-party ad vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites on the Internet.
• Advertising Cookies: Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to ZikrPulse and/or other sites on the Internet.
• User Opt-Out: Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising by visiting AboutAds.info or YourOnlineChoices.com.

6️⃣ Server Log Files & Technical Telemetry

Like virtually all web hosts and cloud content delivery networks (CDNs), our hosting infrastructure automatically logs basic technical information transmitted by your web browser. This includes:

• Internet Protocol (IP) addresses (processed transiently for routing and DDoS mitigation)
• Browser type and version (User-Agent)
• Referring and exit pages
• Date and timestamp of request

This data is not linked to any personally identifiable information and is solely analyzed for security diagnostics, platform uptime monitoring, and infrastructure reliability.

Under international privacy regulations including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• Right of Access & Portability: Because we do not hold your personal records or dhikr tallies on our servers, your data is already fully within your possession inside your local browser.
• Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can wipe 100% of your records immediately by clearing your browser cache or clicking "Reset All History" in our analytics tab.
• Non-Discrimination: We will never discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
• "Do Not Sell My Personal Information": ZikrPulse does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any data brokers or marketers.

8️⃣ Children's Online Privacy (COPPA)

ZikrPulse is designed to be a safe, spiritual environment for Muslims of all ages, including children learning their daily prayers and adhkar. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in applicable European jurisdictions). If a parent or guardian believes their child has submitted personal details through our contact form, please notify us immediately, and we will promptly delete such records.
